GOOGLE LAUNCHES GOOGLE EARTH 5.2 VERSION   
     The best new feature on the new Google Earth is the ability to visualize a hiking, biking, or running track by connecting a GPS device to Google Earth, a feature that was introduced in version 5.0. However, users are now able to view elevation, speed, and other data as a graph in Google Earth.

Other features include:
  • The ability to play back a users trip
  • An embedded browser so users don’t have to leave the Google Earth interface to see external links that relate to the map they are viewing Google Earth Pro, which gives tools to engineers, real-estate professionals, governments, and others to process and visualize large geographic, data sets, has new features including:
  • Parcel, demographic, and traffic data layers for the US
  • Improved GIS importing
  • Automatic generation of super-overlays for very large image files
  • Automatic regioning of large point and vector data sets
  • Support for MGRS grid system
